Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman, Director of the Psychology Department and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at the University of California Davis. She was widely credited with establishing the current study of the memory of witnesses and children as witnesses. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer, has won numerous prizes and grants. She has worked with a variety of governments and organizations all over the world to conduct research and policies relating to child victims of the legal system. She currently serves as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She's a member of numerous professional organizations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the head of the America Psychological Association's divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice.
