Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during the Preparatory School she attended before her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre through Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for a number of years before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she played Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's last years of life.
